Finally, with all the stockholders, patrons and “tambays” we have at the bar, it’s great that we could all talk to each other online. Feel free to express your thoughts on events, food served, service, or heck, just about anything you want. We did build Conspi to be a haven for artists and “like-minded people” to just hang and get drunk. Goodness knows Conspi is still currently hanging on, with all the issues that it’s been juggling left and right (and don’t you know it). So here’s a place where we can discuss these issues, applaud accomplishments or basically just keep in touch.

Well as the ‘ ber ‘ months are about to hit it means our annual effort to market our ‘ CHRISTMAS PRAYERS ‘ cd produced originally in 2003. 13 tracks by 12 of Manila’s greatest alternative artists. All have progressed nicely in the last four years so the music and the message is as relevant now as when it was recorded. No ‘ frosty the snowman ‘ but xmas as we see it here…uniquely ours.
If you want to purchase ‘ just a copy ‘ or have ideas where/how I should market it this year…well I’m all ears.
Thanks,
Jim n Shanti

Magic is being done at 59 Visayas Ave in Quezon City, Manila in a stately old mansion that reputedly once belonged to Imelda Marcos.
I spent three excellent evenings there last week. It was a happy coincidence for me to discover that Rica was performing at Conspi after having filmed her in the PDA concert in Guam the weekend before. I had added her music video for Ikaw at Ako Pa Rin as one of my favorites on my YouTube channel, so it was really cool to be able to film her performing it live.
Gary Granada was there that night with his two daughters, who are both killer singers as well. Rica provided the ultimate karaoke keyboards while we all took turn faking our way through standard tunes. Tita Dequiros even overcame her sweet shyness to belt out a few ditties as well. All in all, an excellent night with my Conspiracy Garden extended family. I love that place and the weirdos that populate it!
You can see Rica and other videos I’ve shot at Conspiracy, as well as interviews with Cynthia Alexander and her bro Joey Ayala here:

What stands out for me is the fact that he’s obviously having way too much fun. Galing, pare!
Hi! I am happy to know that finally Conspiracy has a site! This is one way to have you guys closer to all the music lovers like me. I would say that Conspiracy bar is my favorite place.
Good job Sam! By the way I like the “Stay” song that you composed.
